A national information portal, canada.com has specific pages on more than 50 Canadian cities. (English only.) The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) is Canada’s English-language national public broadcasting system. Features national and international news about current events, culture, sports, etc. (The French-language network is Radio-Canada.) Canoe is an excellent all-purpose site for information, while the Canadian Newspaper Association (CNA) site features links to daily papers across the country. (French-language equivalents: http://www.canoe.qc.ca and http://www.cyberpresse.ca.) The Globe and Mail and the National Post are Canada’s largest national newspapers, with news, information, commentary and interactive discussion on Canadian and international issues. (English only.) |
